  • Downtown Sports began with a simple idea — American sports fans in the UK deserve better access, fair prices, and a community they can be part of.

    Jenna, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, grew up surrounded by American sports culture. As a lifelong Atlanta Falcons fan, supporting her team wasn’t just a hobby — it was part of who she was. When she moved to the United Kingdom, she quickly realised something was missing. It was difficult to find other fans who shared the same passion, and even harder to find authentic merchandise at fair and reasonable prices. The products that were available often came with overwhelming costs, limited availability, and very few reliable UK-based options.

    Jenna saw an opportunity to change that.

    Together with her partner Jeremy, and with the support of her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, they founded Downtown Sports Ltd. What started as a small idea quickly grew into a shared mission: to bring honest, authentic, and affordable American sports merchandise to fans across the UK.

    They didn’t just want to sell products — they wanted to build something they wished had existed when Jenna first arrived. A trusted UK-based store where fans could buy officially licensed gear without inflated prices, uncertainty, or compromise.

    Alongside building the company, they also launched their social platforms to connect with fellow fans, grow a community, and share their passion for American sports. Downtown Sports was built not only as a business, but as a place where fans in the UK could feel connected to the teams and culture they love.
